We are a 100% Volunteer organization.
Volunteers may do any of the following:
Assist at our events; manage programs; assist with range clean-up days, maintenance, and groundskeeping; serve on committees; serve as board members, and more.
No other group does more for our wildlife and/or wild places than deer hunters, duck hunters, trout fishermen, trappers, and others in field sports. Any decline in our number is of great concern since hunting provides the lion’s share of funding for wildlife conservation work. ASA is committed to growing our numbers and ensuring the future of our hunting heritage, our wildlife, and their habitat.

Qualified charitable distributions (QCD)
Distributions from a traditional IRA are taxable. With a QCD, however, these distributions become tax-free as long as they're paid directly from the IRA to an eligible charitable organization. If you are 70.5 or older, you can give up to $100,000 per year from your IRA. If you are subject to an RMD, an IRA gift can help you meet your RMD while lowering your taxable income.
